Andreas Hilka is a Member of the Board of Managing Directors, responsible for asset management, at the German pension funds Pensionskasse der Mitarbeiter der Hoechst-Gruppe VVaG and Höchster Pensionskasse VVaG.
Before taking on his current responsibilities, Andreas was a member of the European Executive Committee and Head of Pensions Europe at Allianz Global Investors. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse Group in Frankfurt and Zurich, with dual responsibilities as Head of Multi-Asset Class Solutions for Austria, Germany, Luxembourg and Poland and Head of Pension Solutions EMEA.
Andreas started his career as Treasury Manager at the former Hoechst Group and was appointed Head of Asset Management and Member of the Management Board for the pension funds of the former Hoechst AG and Continental AG in 2003.
Since 2005, he has been Chair of the expert committee for asset management and regulation of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für betriebliche Altersversorgung e.V. (aba). In May 2019, Andreas was appointed by the German federal government as an active member of the Sustainable Finance Committee, co-chairing its “Risk & Resilience” working group.
Andreas holds a Master’s of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Technical University Darmstadt.
