The CERN Pension Fund launches MyPension, its new online portal

Initially available to active members and will be launched for beneficiaries during a subsequent phase.

The CERN Pension Fund is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of MyPension, its new online portal.

Designed to simplify your administrative procedures and improve your experience, MyPension will provide easy access to your pension information and allow you to interact with the Pension Fund more independently.

Easier access to your pension information

MyPension is a single point of access where you can consult your pension information and provide the Pension Fund Benefits Service with decisions and relevant documents.

MyPension will allow you to:

  • consult your personal information;
  • access your official pension documents;
  • run simulations and submit requests online;
  • complete administrative procedures.

Simplified procedures throughout your pension journey

MyPension will supports you at key stages of your pension journey, including the end of your contract. You can complete your end-of-contract pension formalities and request transfers online through a simple, guided process.

A secure and personal portal

Access to MyPension is strictly personal and protected by enhanced two-factor authentication.

Your personal data and information relating to your benefits are handled securely and confidentially.

How can I access MyPension?

Access to MyPension will be opened progressively from the beginning of October and over the following weeks, to ensure a smooth roll-out of the portal.

You will receive an email to your professional email address (@cern.ch or @eso.org) when your access becomes available, inviting you to activate your access to MyPension.

This email will include:

  • your User ID, which you should keep as you will need it each time you log in;
  • a unique and secure activation link to allow you to set your password.

No action is required from you before you receive this email. As access is being opened progressively, members will not all receive their activation email at the same time.
